GUIDE TO RING SIZE
There are many ways to measure your ring size, some more accurate than others. OMILOU recommends measuring a ring you already own. Place the ring on a piece of paper and mark the inner edges with a freshly sharpened pencil (or ideally, a fine-tipped pencil). Measure the distance between the outermost points of the marked area with a ruler. This gives you the inner diameter of the ring. Below, you can find a guide matching the inner diameter to ring sizes. If your measurement doesn’t correspond exactly to a size, round up to the nearest millimeter.
Remember that your fingers can change size depending on temperature. Always measure your fingers at room temperature. If you’re pregnant, your fingers may also experience temporary swelling.
CARE GUIDE
All OMILOU jewelry is crafted from 925 Sterling Silver, either 14 ct. gold-plated or enameled. While the jewelry is designed for quality and durability, all pieces will show signs of wear over time. Here are a few tips on how to maintain your jewelry's beauty with proper care and storage.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY
We recommend storing your jewelry in the OMILOU box provided when not in use. Precious metals can tarnish and darken when exposed to air and moisture. Always remove your jewelry during activities like dishwashing, cleaning, bathing, or exercising to minimize contact with water, creams, soap, and similar substances.
CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY
If you notice discoloration over time, there are several ways to clean your jewelry:
Silver Jewelry: If your silver jewelry starts to oxidize, you can polish it with silver polish.
Gold-Plated Jewelry: Simply use a soft, dry cloth to restore its shine.
Rhodium-Plated Jewelry: Over time, the rhodium coating may gradually wear off with use. While this cannot be entirely prevented, it can be minimized by following the recommended care and storage practices.
WARRANTY
When shopping at OMILOU, you always have a 2-year warranty on all jewelry. For more information about warranty conditions, please see our terms.
